The Amelia Earhart (July 24, 1897 – disappeared July 2, 1937) macquette by sculptor Zenos Frudakis is a study for a larger life-size sculpture. Amelia Earhart, legendary aviation pioneer and author, disappeared in 1937 during an attempt to fly around the globe. Sculptor Zenos Frudakis describes Amelia's life and the inspirations behind his sculptures giving tribute to her compelling character that continues to win her admiration from many worldwide.
Frudakis sculptures include a portrait bust of Amelia Earhart, and two full body macquettes from which life-size or over-life-size sculptures are developed.
