Richie Ashburn

Richie Ashburn's ten-foot high statue welcomes sports fans in Ashburn Alley at Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. World-renowned local artist, Zenos Frudakis, created four ten-foot tall bronze statues of four of Philadelphia's Hall of Famers. Thirty-seven Ashburn family members, twelve from his home state of Nebraska, attended the official season opening where the deceased Hall of Famer was honored and the Hall of Famer statues were unveiled.
